We’ve reached a new fruit size this week. Finally! Baby is the size of a honeydew. Honeydew sounds absolutely delicious right now (because, yes, I am still on my fresh fruit kick). Too bad I’m allergic to it. Like really, really allergic.
Childbirth and breastfeeding classes are done. We’ve got a hospital tour this weekend and then that’s it. We’ll just be chilling until Baby Kamm decides to make his appearance.
Actually, no. I won’t be chilling. I’ll be feverishly working on finishing up knitting projects, quilt projects and bedroom design projects within the next six weeks. I’ve got all the supplies. Now I just need the get-up-and-go which is nowhere to be found right now.
This week’s OB appointment was quick and uneventful as usual. Baby is head down (despite nightmares I’ve had of him doing back flips and turning breech), still hanging out up high in the belly. The Braxton Hicks are getting a little more intense but other than that all is quiet on the action front. Which is good because we’ve still got about six weeks to go. One more two week appointment then starts the march of heading to Dr. Castillo’s every week.
