The Goddess Test
by Aimee Carter

The Goddess Test was my last book of 2012. It helped me hit my goal of 30 books read. Woot woot!

I have always been a fan of mythology. Especially Greek mythology. Until this book, I hadn’t read any fiction incorporating it. The Goddess Test was a refreshing look at the YA genre that has become pretty full of books about vampires, wolves, and dystopian societies (not that I don’t love those. Because I do).

Despite a few annoying quirks of certain characters, this was a good read. Its the type of quick, light reading that would be good to have while waiting in line at the DMV or at your doctor’s office.

I just finished the novella, The Goddess Hunt, yesterday. That one was ok. Not great and I don’t think its an integral part to the storyline. You could probably go on to the next book in the series, Goddess Interrupted without reading it.

Next up on my nook is The Art of Racing in the Rain. I’m a third of the way through that one and completely in love with it.

I liked The Art of Racing in the Rain! I read it for my old book club and was skeptical, but really enjoyed it!
