life of kamm | halloween 2014

Halloween was pretty rad this year.

The boys begged opted for store bought costumes this year, leaving me to put all of my creative juices into Ame’s. I’ll be posting about her Olivia the Pig costume next week.

I took the kids to a cute, historic downtown area not too far from home for early afternoon trick-or-treating. It beat going door to door in the dark, hands down. They got their candy, cookies and we even picked up an apple pie.

We handed out candy until we ran out, ate dinner, watched movies and went to bed. Fun all around.

My mom came up to visit a couple of weeks ago. We took her out to our favorite pumpkin patch for pumpkin picking, tasty treat eating and farm animal watching.

Our pumpkins never did get decorated, but that’s ok. I forsee a family of Thanksgiving turkey pumpkins decorating our front porch very soon…
